Silicone Ducting - 1 Ply

Product is designed to handle extreme high and low temperature air handling applications.
Not Recommended for application moving liquids or abrasive materials.
Fabric:
- Single ply fiberglass impregnated with silicone rubber.
- Temperature Range: -80 Deg F to +600 Deg F.
- Color: Red
- For other sizes, call for quote.
- Also available in silver color (Part 4037-4) 25ft lengths collapsible down to 5ft.
- Silver ducting also available with a higher temperature range.

Construction:
- A. Support, copper-coated or bronze-plated spring-steel-wire helix.
- B. Cover, woven fiberglass fabric impregnated with silicone rubber.
- C. Cord, fiberglass cord coated with silicone.
- Product is light weight and extremely flexible.
- Excellent for close quarter application where duct can snake around obstacles.

- Aluminum and glass manufacturing fume removal.
- Engine compartment air handling.
- Turbine engine bleed air duct.
- Electronic equipment cooling.
- Paper processing equipment.

Construction:
- A. Support, copper-coated or bronze-plated spring-steel-wire helix bonded between the liner and cover material.
- B. Liner, fiberglass fabric impregnated and coated with silicone rubber.
- C. Cover, fiberglass fabric impregnated and coated with silicone rubber.
- D. Cord, fiberglass cord coated with silicone.
- Product has a smooth bore liner for improved air flow and less air loss.
- Compared to the 1 ply silicone ducting, the 2 ply has a higher pressure rating, but is slightly less flexible.
